2023

• Create to defend diversity - final conference of the project Think Diverse - Paris, Cité des Sciences et de l'Industrie, 24th of March 2023
  
  

  The iriv with the European team of the European project Think Diverse! proposed a final conference of the Think Diverse project, which took place on Friday, March 24, in the Agora room, at the Cité des Sciences et de l'Industrie in Paris.

  First part: A European team will present its creative modules entrusted to Skill up & Eurosviluppo in Rome, Neotalentway in Granada and iriv in Paris, illustrated by videos entrusted to the artistic partners- TAG in Rome, CurvaPolar in Granada and Lirac in Cormeilles in Parisis to reflect on how to understand and defend diversity through creativity.

  Second part: the floor is given to initiatives to promote diversity: Fesitival "Les couleurs des courts" organized by the Faisceau convergent association (Les Lilas, 2 to 4 March 2023); the diversity fresco proposed by ESSEC

  Part Three: Opening up internationally and in Europe with threats to diversity (within the European Union and Ukraine)

  The project is aimed at young people (18-30 years) and professionals who accompany them but also at all the key actors of diversity in France - associations, local authorities, public institutions, companies signatory to the diversity charter...

  Film students (CLCF and EICAR) will illustrate the debates with lozenges prepared on the specific themes addressed:

  1. diversity related to gender and sexual orientation chosen by Italy
  2. mental health diversity for Spain
  3. cultural and religious diversity for France

• Yearly Day for the associative world (JM2023) - training day for associations and chartered accountants - Paris, 4th of July 2023
  
  

  For the Ordre régional des Experts Compatables (OEC) d'Ile de France, the president of iriv was part of the organizing committee of the Journée du Monde associatif (JMA) which was held on July 4, 2023 at the Maison des associations du XIIIème arrondissement (Paris). She was asked to lead a round table "European funds"; she co-hosted a workshop on "European funds"

2022

• Day of the associative world (JM2022) - training day for associations and chartered accountants - PAris, 7 July 2022
  
  

  For the Regional Order of Chartered Accountants (OEC) in Ile de France, the president of iriv was part of the organizing committee of the Yearly Day for the associative World(JMA2022) which was held on Thursday, July 7, 2022 at the Salle prestige (Paris Etoile). She was responsible for leading the opening round table "State of play in the associative world in 2022"; she co-animated the workshops "Volunteering and skills sponsorship" and "Cooperation between associations".

2012

• Final conference for the Migrapass project - restitution of the results of the Migrapass project - Pavillon Carré de Baudouin, PAris, 20th of September 2012
  
  

  Together with Autremonde ,  iriv initiated the Migrapass, a  European project Leonardo da Vinci which gathered five countries : France (Autremonde, leader &  iriv, coordinator) ; Austria (Oikodrom) ; Bulgaria (New Bulgarian University), Spain (University of  Burgos) and the United Kingdom (University of Roehampton).

  Autremonde and iriv organised the final seminar in Paris entitled L'expérience migratoire, un atout pour l'insertion professionnelle, on the 20th of September 2012 at the Pavillon Carré de Baudouin.

• Association visiting patients in hospitals - Conference on the occasion of the 50th Birthday of theAssociation VMEH in the Yvelines on the following topic "Evolution of the role played by volunteers in Hospitals and medical institutions" - Mairie de Versailles, 5th of April 2012
  
  

  The Year 2012 is celebrating the 50th birthday of the association Visite des Malades dans les Etablissements Hospitaliers – VMH in the Yvelines. This is the occasion to propose a flash back of he origins of the movement VMH born 200 years ago. How far did it change? What is the place of associations at the hospital  today ? What is the role played by volunteers visiting people in hospitals? The 50^th birthday is both a way to make a flashback and to prepare the future.

  Regional conference , "Economic volunteering : myth or reality ? ", Clermont Ferrand (France), 20th of November 2008
  Ce colloque est organisé par les plateformes fédérées au sein d'Auvergne Initiative à l'occasion de la Semaine du bénévolat économique. The president of Iriv has presentes the work done by Iriv since 1997 to enhance and encourage voluntary work through national and European projects and its publications. She will insist on the Leonardo da Vinci project she has initiated and directed between 2003 and 2006, AVE for a professional project, which gathered 14 partners in 7 countries, awarded in Helsinki in 2006 for excellent practice in addressing the priorities of the Copenhagen process. She will introduce the new LdV project she is coordinating with the Institut national du développement local, which is a transfer of innovation of the AVE project among local councilors.

  L'Association pour la réflexion, l'information et l'accueil des familles de militaires a tenu son assemblée générale le 15 mars dernier.
  
  La présidente de l'Iriv a présenté les résultats du projet mené depuis 2003 avec Aria sur la Valorisation des acquis d'une expérience bénévole. (VAEB pour un projet professionnel ). Elle a insisté sur les résultats concrets obtenus à l'issue de ces trois années : le retour à l'emploi ou la formation de 6 bénévoles, ainsi que le partenariat fructueux noué en 2006 avec Accueil des Villes Françaises (AVF)

  The Union of social institutions (UIS) gathers associations in the field of social services in the VIth district of Paris.

  The president of iriv presented the economy of volunteerinf. The service provided by the volunteer may be defined as a free service offered by a third (the volunteer) without receiving money (for free) during his/her leisure time. In difficult economic times, the alternative is not: a volunteer or a paid staff but a volunteer or nobody. Volunteering allows association to go on. Volunteers have played a pionner role. It has sometimes led to the creation of new kinds of job. In 1990, paid staff in associations represented 4.2% of the active population.

• Institute for social development - Thinking differently solidarity , Rouen (Seine Maritime) - 17th and 18th of September 1998
  
  

  The conference tackled on the one hand the main trends on the labour market and the change to come. On the other hand, contradictory elements concerned the increase of social minima. The topic of solidarity with or without acknowledgement was addressed.

  The president of iriv developed 3 topics: volunteering, benevolence and sel-help. They share common characteristics: involvement, freedom, not for profit aim, for a community, general good. Statutes are different: a relevant frame for volunteering, more freedom for benevolence, unofficial for self-help. There is not any profile for people involved in "self-help". The trend is in the interfact between State and citizens. It is more developed in the United States and in Canada.

  On the occasion of the Forum of the associations organised at the City hall of the 15th district in Paris, entitled "Volunteering today", several associations testimonied on problems they are faced with : difficult recruitment, volunteers attracted by many associations, ageing of the executive managers

  The président was the key note speacker of a workshop. She tried to bring some elements of answer on motivations of volunteers, "profile", evolution of volunteering in France...

• La guilde étudiante- students association - 16th Forum of Solidarity North South , Agen (Lot et Garonne) - 22nd-24th of October 1998
  
  

  This forum is organised any other year. It gathers associations, organisations, local authorities, firms and institutions in the field of Development. A workshp was dedicated to "Social lonk, volunteering and fund raising".

  The president of iriv proposed a presentation on the evolution of volunteering since the 90s, which is more and more popular among the Frenc population. The main advantages of volunteering are linked to competences that may be acquired. There is a strong link between gift in time (volunteering) and gift in money (fund raising) as 2/3 of volunteers are also donators. The opposite is not so obvious as only 38% of donators are also volunteers. Volunteers and donators contribute to enhance social link.
